Onsite Counseling

Kathy Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience in community mental health and private practice work.  She holds licenses in both Kanas and Missouri and has office locations in Leawood, KS and Kansas City MO. Kathy has worked with firemen, emergency personnel, law enforcement and corrections officers, addressing issues specific to the demands of their work schedules, such as sleep disturbance,  stress management and chronic exposure to trauma. The impact on families of emergency responders is often a part of the overall treatment for this population. She also has experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anger issues, anxiety, depression, personal stress, work stress, interpersonal relationships, substance use, trauma and work-life balance. She looks forward to serving Clay County employees.
