Virtual (video) and Onsite counseling
Covington’s suite of benefits includes 6 free counseling sessions for all employees. Participants may schedule confidential, virtual (video) sessions with a licensed clinician to address common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, preventing burnout, building resilience, relationship issues and alcohol or substance abuse concerns.
To schedule a free, confidential session, please select a date and time from the calendar to the right. For your initial intake session, please schedule 2 back-to-back sessions for a total time of 50 minutes.* All follow-up sessions will be 30 minutes.*

*EAP is a support service and as such, this is a confidential relationship directly between you the Service. Remember only to use your personal and not work email when accessing any private service such as this.
Meet Your Counselor
Julie Millman is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience serving adult clientele in California. She received both her Bachelors and Masters at California State University, Sacramento. As a therapist, it is her priority to create a warm and nonjudgmental atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change. She uses a variety of approaches to address her clients’ unique needs. Many successful treatment plans will utilize a foundation of Biopsychosocial understanding, Psychoeducation, cognitive/cognitive-behavioral strategies, (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) EMDR, mindfulness meditation/self compassion skills and problem solving treatment. It is her honor and mission to help her clients resolve or reduce their distressing symptoms.
