Virtual (video) and Onsite counseling
Covington’s suite of benefits includes 6 free counseling sessions for all employees. Participants may schedule confidential, in person and virtual (video) sessions with a licensed clinician to address common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, preventing burnout, building resilience, relationship issues and alcohol or substance abuse concerns.
To schedule a free, confidential session, please select a date and time from the calendar to the right. *For your first intake session please schedule 2 sessions in a row for a 50-minute session.*
*EAP is a support service and as such, this is a confidential relationship directly between you the Service. Remember only to use your personal and not work email when accessing any private service such as this.
Meet Your Counselor
Carolyn Hoffmann (VIRTUAL ONLY) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in working with individuals of all ages who may feel stuck or overwhelmed by daily responsibilities & life transitions. She is a true believer in the therapeutic power of dialogue. Life can often be complex & messy, but with a supportive environment to talk things through, it can feel much easier to tackle. She strives to provide an inclusive, empathic, & non-judgmental space to manage your emotions & stressors as we work to nurture your personal relationships. Her approach prioritizes connection & reasonable expectations as we identify together what sustainable change means for you. I also offer burnout coaching to help you with tangible strategies for managing both stress & your workload.
Specialties include: Life transition, work stress, relationship stress, anxiety and depression.

Olufolake Ogunyemi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate their way through life struggles. She received her MS from Howard University and her BS from Lehman College. She knows that taking the first step to engage in therapy isn't easy, but it is brave and worth it. She understands that nothing in life is one-size-fits-all and is committed to providing individualized care for self-growth and change to discover your purpose in life. “My approach to therapy is to create a warm, transparent, safe, supportive and nonjudgmental environment for you to feel free to be vulnerable and honest.”
