SupportLinc offers free and confidential onsite EAP counseling for The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office employees.
The SupportLinc onsite counselor is able to assist with concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, work-life balance, relationships and healthy lifestyle management. EOB sessions take place in The Quiet Room
HQ sessions take place on the 3rd floor, Human Resources

Meet Your Counselor
Christine Rykiel is an LCSW with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She has experience in the private practice setting and has worked with a wide range of concerns and populations. She is the owner and Executive Director of Gulf Shores Counseling Center (GSCC). She offers client-centered, goal-oriented counseling that develops and enhances client strengths and builds coping skills to manage the symptoms of a wide range of mental health conditions. She utilizes motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy principles in her sessions.
Ms. Rykiel has experience treating a range of mental health symptoms and issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, life adjustment issues, relationship conflicts, work-related stressors, low self-esteem and behavior management issues.
