Schulze and Burch’s suite of benefits includes free, in-person consultation for all employees in need of work-life services. Participants may schedule confidential sessions to address common concerns such as housing needs, childcare needs, financial hardship, assistance with connection to legal assistance or financial consultation and connection to local resources for any other needs discussed.

Meet Your Counselor
Maria Mejia-Ramirez is a bilingual Licensed Social Worker with over 20 years of experience empowering people through education, support and connection to resources. Growing up on the north side of Chicago as a first-generation American, her parents stressed the value of family and the positive contribution to one’s community as a holistic endeavor. Their work ethic and commitment to their family made her feel rich in ways that had little to do with money and material things. She was raised to lend herself to those seeking help and guidance. She takes comfort in being called a “Life Coach” by some and believes that has been a testament to living her life to be of service to others. Marija is able to assist you in getting connected to services and resources that may be of great assistance to any challenge you are facing.
