Meet Your Counselor
Rachel Bailey-Wood is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Her expertise and passion lie in trauma-informed practice and treatment of life-threatening behaviors. Rachel has worn multiple hats throughout her two-decade career: clinician, leader, educator, consultant and advocate. She is extensively trained in modalities like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
Rachel has championed efforts toward family preservation, child welfare initiatives, workforce development on assessment and management of suicide, student mental health and countless state-level trauma-informed initiatives.
